Interning at ideaForge.

I work on iF FleetDesk, the internal app staff use to book, dispatch and track vehicles for people and material, on web and mobile.

  1. Live vehicle telemetry from the Varroc TCU APIs, with caching, retries and deadlines, so positions arrive within 3 seconds even when the vendor is slow.
  2. A live operations map on the Google Maps API: vehicle search, status filters, stale-GPS detection and dark mode.
  3. Booking and dispatch that stay correct when two people act at once, checked inside database transactions.
  4. Tracking visibility an admin controls, from trip status only to the full map, enforced on the server.

Web & Mobile App Developer Intern

ideaForge Technology, Navi Mumbai

  • iF FleetDesk: a TypeScript monorepo with a NestJS, Prisma and PostgreSQL API, a React web app and an Expo mobile app, for employees, drivers and admins.
  • Integrated the Varroc TCU APIs for vehicle telemetry and the Google Maps API for live tracking.
  • Booking for passengers or material, including multi-stop and outstation trips, with driver assignment and dispatch.
  • Scheduled shuttles with timetables, seat capacity, cancellation cutoffs, no-shows and driver manifests.
  • An offline queue in the driver app, so location and trip events sync once the connection is back.
  • Concurrency tests on real PostgreSQL, with typecheck, lint and build checks before every merge.

  • Node.js backend services that connect hiring tools (ATS) to CRMs through REST APIs, automating recruiting workflows.
  • Redis-backed background job queues, so slow work runs asynchronously and the APIs respond quickly.
  • Designed the services as separate modules, so each could be changed and maintained on its own.
